For build I would go 4 sorcerer/ 1 vivisectionist / 10 arcane trickster and / 5 loremaster. If you want to nuke and blast then take option 1 but if you just want to blast option 2. With cross blood you get 2 bloodlines so that’s either + 1 damage per dice and you can convert all spells into fire damage or just get +2 damage per dice. If you were to build a sneak wizard I would go sorcerer instead and take cross blood as draconian bloodlines give +1 damage per dice so if a spell does 10d6 then the bloodlines will give an extra damage. Second of all sneak attacks aren’t really the best to build around because a metamgic called bolster exists which makes sneak attacks impossible but gives a bunch of damage. Please don't break those either.įirst of all I’m gonna preface a few things blaster wizard don’t really pick up until level 9 (scorching ray ) with nuking (fireballs) being something that’s ok in act 1 but really picks up in act 2. I would often have to do a background check on enemies when deciding to use bolster spell or S.A damage. Sneak Attack on spells is not very useful, as a large proportion of enemies are immune and there is also bolster spell. But magic missles, scorching ray, and volcanic storm (champion underdog of the listed chocies) help significantly when dealing with enemies who are annoying. I find that a AT mercenary is a decent stand-in for early levels, but falls off significantly when the last bit of a4 and a5 hit. And AT tricksters are one of those classes :D If you're playing on a difficulty that doesn't suffer heavily from stat bloat, you can play any class really. Tricksters are just way better for martial classes and legend martial classes. But due to stat bloat, AT tricksters aren't a solid choice for harder difficulties. I've made 3 or 4 different Arcane Tricksters + Tricksters. The subreddit for all things Pathfinder CRPG.
